THE
FOUNDER

The founder of the AURAs is Orlando Gittens ( Born 27th January 1960 in London UK  CEO of Musical 

Therapy Entertainment Limited) Black British with Barbadian heritage is often described as a visionary, 

he is a producer and promoter of performing arts & events including benefit & charity Concerts.

Orlando is known for his charmingly disarming smile and infectious laugh lol. 

 

He is responsible for The 02 Giants of Lovers Rock, running from 2008 to the current time this is 

the World’s largest & longest running UK Reggae  lovers rock soirée he also promotes top brands  

The ‘Autumn VIP Reggae Week’nder’, The ‘Soul Disciples Week’nder’, ‘Barbados Fest’ and now his l

latest & possibly greatest event The AURA's.

 

Orlando has worked with a  host of artistes including some of the world’s most alluring talent.

From the mid-eighties to the late 90s Orlando owned  the hugely popular underground soul label 

“Soultown records” through one of the most volatile periods in music history piloting singlehandedly 

the infamous “Wayne G Spot Marshall” project selling over 100,000 albums  & propelling Phoebe 1 into 

orbit as the first female rapper to win a prestigious MOBO award.

 

 

His dream is for all of his events to attract like-minded people to get together, chat, dance, 

play, sing and smile like they have been the best of friends for years. Led by Orlando Gittens 

CEO and founder,  the executive leadership team sets the company's overall direction and oversees 

all major strategic, financial and operational decisions. Orlando vehemently believes that “the bigger
